The School Ready Child Is…

As the President proposes national, public attention on preparing young children for school, Zero to Three reminds us to make certain social and emotional readiness is part of the conversation.  Healthy development of babies and toddlers is an essential part of preparing children for success in school.  Check out this wonderful infographic developed by Zero to Three to help answer the questions of how a child becomes ready for school and what the school-ready child “looks” like– all of which has roots in the first three years of a child’s life.
