Sylvia Guendelman, Ph.D. is a professor of Community Health and Human Development and Chair of the Maternal and Child Health Program at the School of Public Health, University of California at Berkeley. Her research interests include: health and social behavior, health policy and management, and maternal & child health. Among her many projects, Sylvia chaired the America’s Reproductive Health Panel World Health Organization between 2000 and 2007, is an Editorial Board Member for Maternal and Child Health Journal, Advisory Board Member of the Services Committee, California Chapter of the March of Dimes and member of the UC Task Force of the California Health Services Review Program which reviews health bills for California legislators.
