Fortunately the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission had something to say about the pregnancy discrimination this Milwaukee mom faced and as a result of a lawsuit, her former boss had to pay her $150,000 in punitive and compensatory damages. Women in the United States have legal protection against pregnancy discrimination but unfortunately it doesn’t mean women are not being wrongfully terminated due to their pregnancy.
