So are we! That’s why our own Ron Lally will be in attendance at Building A Competitive Future Right from the Start.
On April 25th, the National Center for Children in Poverty, the New York State Paid Leave Coalition, and A Better Ballance will host experts in a public forum exploring what the research says about the impact of family leave on early childhood health and development, family economic security, and long-term well-being.
If you’ll be in the New York City area, we hope you’ll consider attending.
For more information, including a full agenda, list of panelists and speakers, and how to RSVP, visit the NCCP website.

Hi, I have started a petition to get the US Congress to consider paid maternity leave legislation. I am trying to get as many people to view, sign, and share it as possible because nothing will change if we keep silent. I know that I am not the only one who feels that the US is too far behind in providing a humane family leave policy. You can view the petition here:

If you agree – please sign and share as widely as possible. 1 million signatures might seem unrealistic, but I think we can get there if we can just reach all the women (and men) who feel the same way. Thanks.
